Terms and Conditions

LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE/LOSS

By booking/accepting a hire, you agree to be responsible for any costs associated with damage or loss of the machine and/or its parts during your custody.

CANCELLATION/BOOKING CHANGES

To cancel or change your booking, a minimum of 2 full days’ notice is required; otherwise, a $30 fee will apply.

We are not liable for any damages caused to you or your property during the hire period.

REFUNDS

Any agreed-upon refunds will be calculated based solely on the machine hire price and will not include the solution price.

BINDING AGREEMENT

By agreeing to a hire via our website, email, messenger, or text, you enter into a binding and written contract, eliminating the need for further documents to be signed.

VARIABILITY OF RESULTS

Results may vary due to factors such as material, age of stains, and the pile of carpet/couch. We do not issue refunds based on varied outcomes.

TIMELY PICK-UP AND RETURN

For self-pickups you are responsible for picking up and returning the machine within the designated time slots agreed upon at the time of hire. Late returns will incur a fee based on the duration of lateness.

MACHINE CONDITION UPON RETURN

If the machine is not returned in the same clean state as when it was provided, a $20 deep cleaning fee may be charged.

FAILURE TO RETURN MACHINE

If the machine is not returned by the specified time, Clean Hire Canberra reserves the right to contact the police and provide them with your details to ensure the safe return of the machine.

NO EARLY RETURNS

Refunds will not be provided if you return the machine earlier than your booking, as this blocks out the time, potentially denying service to other customers.

DEBT COLLECTION

In cases of non-payment or other issues, debt collectors may be contacted.
